I'm in the process of entering my recipes and I wanted to know if for the price of ingredients should I be putting in the price it cost to purchase each ingredent or shoud I be putting down the price of each ingredient for the size cake I'm making? Say am I putting in the price of 2 cups of flour or the entire bag of flour?
I would assume you would put your cost for the items in that recipe. I don't yet have the program though, however I do use quickbooks for other bookkeeping purposes, and things are tracked as they are used (i.e: my visa bill is separated per item, I don't just lump-in the entire bill). Hopefully that is helpful, or hopefully someone with exp w/cakeboss will reply for you.
