Michelle Foster's Fondant

I noticed that Michelle Foster's fondant recipe has milk and butter in it. Does it need to be refrigerated? I usually don't refrigerate my cakes. Mostly because of space and because I make them for the next day. Thanks.

No the sugar acts as a preservative.
