Is adding gumtex to fondant equivalent to adding gumpaste to fondant for making flowers or figures? Is it 2 teaspoons to 12oz fondant? I can't remember.....................

Yes this will work. Your proportions seem correct. I say that because I've never really measured how much I put into my fondant. I just knead in some until it is just beginning to get stiff and then I wrap it and let it rest over night.

Thanks Michele. A can of gumtex is a lot cheaper than packages of gumpaste! icon_biggrin.gif
