A little old woman called me to order a baby shower cake and the only request she had was to make sure it had baby blue on it. She said she didn't like the darker blue that Walmart and the other bakeries use for baby cakes. I haven't seen a baby cake from Walmart before so I'm not sure what color to avoid. Colors can be really tricky. I see baby blue like a very pale denim blue but others see it as that brighter bluish green color. Should I use a royal blue or a navy blue...just keep it very light? I have every shade of Wilton's blue colors and some of the other brands too. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think as long as you keep it light you'll be okay.
