I want to know if anyone here can give me any pointers on how to do it. I can cover square cakes and round I have yet to try anything different. My son's first birthday is in October so I'm going to start practicing early but I wanted to know if anyone can give me any tips. Thanks so much!!
Smooth top first, then when smoothing sides, make sure to lift at the bottom and push out the pleats that want to form there. Do not be afraid of the fondant. Smooth it with a good amount of pressure.
