im looking to start making cakes from scratch and so far, i have not liked any that i have done. does anyone have a great recipe that they can share with me? I would love to say that the cake i made was made from scratch and not a box mix. I already have the buttercream mastered but now i need a good cake recipe. Thank you to anyone who can help me in advanced.

Ummmm, if you haven't liked any of the scratch cakes you've made.... Perhaps you need to refine your scratch cake making techniques.

And if you would like to try a great "doctored" cake mix recipe, I'd recommend the many flavor variations of the WASC cake.

To me, this is the perfect combination of box reliability with a more homemade taste. icon_smile.gif
