Could anyone suggest a good book or video showing how to make flowers and things from gumpaste and fondant? I would love to learn. Thank you!! icon_biggrin.gif

Well, to get your feet wet, I suggest starting with tonedna's calla lily tutorial. That is an excellent beginner's video, and you get to see someone actually making the flower. Then, I would suggest Nicholas Lodge videos, so you can SEE how to do things.

Books are difficult to learn from if you are beginner...at least it was for me, as I am a visual learner. Once I learned all of the basics of GP (wiring, taping, hooking, ruffling, thinning, etc), THEN I was able to use all the books I've collected. I especially love Nicholas Lodge's "A Potpourri of Flowers" and Scott Clark Woolley's "Cakes by Design."
