I want to make it just on the sides of a fondant covered cake, are there any videos? Thanks Dana

You need to buy a diamond impression mat. Global Sugar art has them.
I think on sugarshack's Flawless Fondant DVD she shows a demo of using the impression mat.

You also can use a three diamond quilter. If you have questions about that tool, please e-mail me, I'm happy to try and help.

Sharon's DVD goes through the process very well, and if you choose to go that route, you can also get the matt on her site.

Step0nmi-
I just bought one too, to use for a wedding cake I have this week. How hard is it to line up the patterns on the side of the fondant cake? I am a little nervous since I don't have time to practice it. Any tips you have would be great! TIA!

In a pinch I would think you could pipe some hot glue onto thin cardboard or something... and I say hot glue cause I think royal would want to break off during use.

its not hard at all. you can clearly see where your impressions are and just carfeully line them up evry time you place the mat back on the cake.

dont press the edges down though, as you will get a mark from the end of the mat on the cake.
