I have a 4 tier wedding cake in Aug. 16/12/10/8" rounds.Ordered the SPS plates & legs. Received them this week & was surprised the plates were so flimsy and the legs so small. icon_surprised.gif I was expecting something more substantial from all that I've read about how good they are, especially for stacked cakes. I'm nervous about not using a center dowel and all that weight being on those little legs! Any encouraging words here????? Tell me its gonna be OK! Do I need to use extra dowels in addition to the legs? Help!

I've done three tiers on them with absolutely no problem and I wouldn't hesitate to do a four. I'm sure you'll get more responses from people who've used them much more than me but I do stand behind them. They work just as great as you've heard. icon_smile.gif
