I am making some chocolate buttercream and it's too light. What can I add to make it darker? I need it to crust too, which it's doing but I'm afraid if I mix it much more I will get more of those tiny air bubbles that I am already starting to get.... Please help! I have, on hand, dry cocoa(for baking) hot fudge topping(goes in my recipe). I may have some semi-sweet choco-chips.. Please, need help now! Thanks!

You can add more cocoa or brown coloring.

OK, why don't you just add some brown color to it?

Everytime I try to make chocolate bc, I have to add color.

Thanks everyone, it turned out ok, didn't have any brown coloring icon_sad.gif but I did add more cocoa, not as dark as I hoped for but better! Thanks!
