I looked through the forum and I might have missed it, but how do you fill cupcakes? Wilton's Cupcake book has a special tip but it did not give any directions. Do you just stick the tip in, or do you scoop out some of the cake, or what?
Thanks,
Missy

some people use the large star tip, but i use the bismark tip that wilton sells. That tip is longer and most can put three holes to make sure you get more filling with each bite than just one hole in the middle.

Don't be afraid, just poke it down and squeeze, the pressure from the filling will make the piping bag rise. I just did this last night with my new addiction bettercreme and it was a hit at the office today. hth

I like to use a Wilton hidden plastic pillar to make a hole (stick in, pull out, away comes a cake plug) then squirt a little simple syrup then the filling then stuff the cake plug back in.
