Does anyone have a crusting Buttercream recipe that does not have crisco in it and is really delicious? I reaaly dont like the recipes with crisco, I hope I am not alone in this one!!! Thanks Dana
There are lots of delicious buttercreams, but without the shortening, they don't really crust well.
Mine has less crisco than most recipes and I get rave reviews on the flavor! Just enough crisco to make it hold up well but not enough to make it taste like sugary shortening or give you that greasy mouth-feel.
