Mailing Cakes - Suggestions Please

I would like to mail a fondant covered cake but do not want it to arrive as pudding! Does anyone have experience with this? Do I put it in a styrofoam container with frozen ice pack? Or will the fondant get condensation and turn slimy? Please help.
