I was too an Aggie engineering major...for several years. Then I realized I hated it! I ended up going to college for 7 long years...got out with a Landscape Architecture degree instead. Long story short...do what you enjoy. My grades DRASTICALLY improved and so did my mental state when I began classes in Landscape Architecture. I could NOT imagine my life now if I had graduated engineering. Can't say that I wish I had gone to culinary school...maybe more business classes, so I would feel more comfortable if I wanted to open up a shop someday. There are PLENTY of great cake decorators that were not culinary school trained. Just my two cents. Gig 'em! Class of '00...should have been '07, but you read my post already, right? Good luck!
