Okay so im trying to make a snowglobe cake for my boyfriends mom because she collects snowglobes. Athought i don't want a christmas one because its july?

And she is a Green Bay fan so I was gonna do some fondant cheese and a football helmet inside of it!

So.... i was thinking about making a latex mold of a glass bowl and doing like the sugar bottles to create a sugar dome? Does anyone think this would work?? Im no expert in sugar so I dont know??

Thanks!!!

it seems to me that it would work...however, not sure how well you will be able to see the cheese and football.....i am not an expert either...so i can't tell you how to make the candy so that you can see well into it....
what if you made the base the cake and made your fondant figures.....and then placed like a fish bowl on top!!!!! i don't know i wish i was more help!!!!!!!!

I think it will work but I think you have to use isomalt so it will be clear
and use a deep clay mold to hold the shape and I would leave the bottom open and just put the stuff on the cake and then put the dome over it
