It is really funny but it seems everyone lately wants the square wedding cake with ribbon and swiss dots.

It is simple but elegant.

Everybody wants ribbon around the bottom tiers of the cake. And I also notice more squares.

Lately, I've been doing a lot that are based on the invites.

Not really a "common" design, the invites these brides are bringing me are unique and high end. So the cakes themselves don't look anything alike, but the invites as the design base is a common theme

My most popular cake for the last two years has been some variation of ribbon around the bottom, swiss dots and a queen mother hat ( little poof of flowers on the top)
