I want to try three new cake recipes this weekend, one of them the WASC cake that everyone raves about.

What other two would you recommend?

I'd like to try a great chocolate recipe (my husband loves the Hershey's Chocolate cake, but I want to try something else) and maybe a good yellow or red velvet.

With the cake, I'm going to make cupcakes and cake balls to bring into work.

There are some good ones in there, and some that are mentioned on here often as great, like Toba Garrets yellow cake (which does rock) among others.

I can never answer these single recipe requests very well....you want chocolate cake? I have dozens of good recipes, all tasty. Is there a particular feature of any you are wanting?
