How far ahead could I make a fondant covered dummy? (thinking about the fair this year) icon_biggrin.gif

I started one last year that I will finish next month for the fair in September. I looks just like new.

I have a similar question? What do I coat the dummie with for fondant and then for buttercream.?

Dummy cakes can easily be made with fondant a couple of years ahead. Jusr spritz the stryo with a bit of water and the fondant will stick to it. I don't do dunnies with buttercream. Instead I use PermaIce.
