Need an idea for my daughter's 8th B-day party at a "Paint Your Own Pottery". I don't even know what we will be painting. Need help fast, party is July 19th.

I made cakes decorated to look like big coffee mugs (painted, one of them only partly painted). I made a paintbrush out of fondant and made the cake board look a painter's palette.

Or you could do little fondant or gumpaste "pottery" pieces and paint brushes and palates and place them around the top of the cake.
