Hello all, I would like to make a cake dummy for a display and was wondering if I covered it in fondant, how long will it last before it starts cracking and looking "old"?

I have some that are about 6 years old. Be sure the fondant isn't dried out when you put it on the cake.

ive got one that i did last year the only thing is that it was pink now its almost white, so it will fade if left out in the direct light.

Thank you JoAnn. I knew it was probably a dumb question but I have never decorated a dummy before. There is always a first for everything. Thanks again for your reply.
