I don't know who sells those unless it's just a local place. I mean shipping chocolate right now is nothing if not risky in this heat. But I don't think those can be shipped. Too fragile.

It's not that hard to make them. There's a learning curve but so long as you remember chocolate's big deal is temperature temperature temperature. You just have to get it at the right temp. And they will curl up like magic.

I can get them for you here in Holland, a couple of different kinds...if you'd like me to price them for you. Of course, a measure of risk in shipping, cost, etc....but let me know, I'd be happy to do it!icon_biggrin.gif

I have found a large container of Hershey's chocolate shavings at my local grocery store for under $5 - kind of in a large candy sprinkle container. Also, I have a store here in Florida called BJ's - similar to Sam's or Costco's and I bought a round container with six different sections and each section had a different colored chocolate curls for around $10.

Wow, this site is sooooo informative.
Can anyone tell me what KIND of chocolate to use?
I need to make white chocolate curls.
Can I do it with chips or what type/brand would you use?
Thanks in advance! icon_confused.gif

If you can temper chocolate use chocolate chips.

I use summer coating, aka candy melts because I'm too lazy to temper.
