Drum roll please.......I did it!!! I did it!!! The bride was estatic and I transported it 30 minutes without it melting or tipping over. icon_biggrin.gif

The flowers are gum paste and white BC, white cake with raspberry filling. What do you think?

congratulations on a job well done! I can't believe you drove with it assembled!!! I would have ended up with a pile of mess!

WOW!! What a NEAT design! I am going to assume that you drove with the top layer off & placed that on top when you arrived? I am always paranoid when delivering wedding cakes, so either way - great job! At first I thought your flowers were real, but now I'm thinking you made them? I'm SO impressed by your cake!!

Ocakes-I drove with the top not on the cake...and the flowers were gum paste....I learned how to do them from youtube. icon_wink.gif

What support method did you use? And what was the size of the bottom layer?

The bottom cake is 18x18 square. I used dowels for the support system..lots of them.
