I purchased a Hannah Montana edible image from my local grocery store. They took it out of the original packaging and put it in a plastic bag. There were no directions attached. I asked the lady how to apply the image and she just said to put it on the cake and turned around. I just want to make sure. Are there special instructions on how to apply the image? Any help would be appreciated.

Wow - that's service.

If you're putting it on a crusting BC just mist the cake very, very lightly with water and apply the image. If the image has a backing (I assume it's a frosting sheet and not rice paper), and the backing is not coming off easily, place the image in the freezer for a few minutes.

If its a non-crusting BC you can simply apply to the cake. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

For fondant cakes/cookies, I usually put a little piping gel on the image before applying.
