I saw this little electric thing at Michaels that is made to cut stryrofoam Does it work? I am making a dummy cake of a hot dog and want to be able to shape it....last time I cut and shaped the stuff, it was a HUGE mess (had to sand it) and was a PAIN IN THE A**!!

It cuts, but it has serious limitations. It can only go into the foam as wide as the support wire. the wire is hot and cuts quickly, so you can overdo it. But, it is better than a messy knife.
