I thought I saw a pic of a basket with balls of yarn & knitting needles on CC gallery but I can't find the one I was looking for (did see some others) I have looked everywhere I know to look but cannot find out how to make a ball of yarn? Any help out there with a "how to" or a tutorial? Thanks for your help.

Ball cake pan or the mini ball pan. Extrude fondant into strings. Put bc on ball/mini ball. Wrap wih fondant strings.

You could also pipe it in buttercream with a round tip, it would just be a little harder to do than the fondant ropes.
