I will be making a cake for a friend who loves shoes.I have seen a few here made out of gumpaste and I am wondering which do you prefer or would you suggest...I know there is a template here on CC which i have printed out..those that have used it, how did it work for you..I also see that global sugar art sells two cutters/molds has anyone used either of them? If so how did it work for you and was it difficult??? thanks for any help or advice you can give me....

I have only made 3 shoes and have always used the template on cc. The first one I made exactly like the tutorial, but after that, I still used it, but modifed it.

I think it works great. My last shoe I made my own heel and just proped up the arch as high as needed.
