Fewer parents in the family picture back them (more step families today).

Then: White cake with white icing, all tiers decorated the same. Now: Any flavor, any color any shape, any design!

well I guess I cant complain besides my aunt who always gives crystal from Tiffany's to the Brides, I got money from everyone else. They all conspired to give us money so we could stash it away for a house down payment..I got married in 94. But I did get a wok set and small crock pot I never use from my mil for my birthday 2 years in a row! icon_rolleyes.gif

I wish I'd known where that gas was 20 min ago!! It's 4.09 here. Gross. A year ago it was a dollar cheaper! Love those numbers though. I wish I could charge over $4 for a slice of cake! In my dreams!

I love it! 35cents a serving! Lets see that would make the cake that I am supposed to be pricing right now......$24.50! Ummm....yah I don't think so.

She says "....and the guests never know the difference!" Hmmmm. I'm sitting there eating cake and the 3 tier wedding cake is still sitting there it all it's glory, uncut and untouched? icon_confused.gif

Because around here, I've never seen a cake removed to the kitchen to be cut. Most folks would wonder what was going on and why it wasn't being cut right there like it always is.
