Help! My rock candy mixture turned yellowish during the cooking process. I wanted a pale bluish color, but when I added the blue it turned green. What did I do wrong??
Nevermind - I figured it out. I cooked it over too low of heat for too long, in too thin of a pan. I tried again, turned it up to high after the sugar had melted, and it worked out perfectly.
I've never made anything with sugar like that. But, I am glad you figured it out on your own!
