I want to make ShirlyW's bavarian cream filling and it calls for Pastry Pride. I can't find it here. What can I substitute it with - whipping cream? CoolWhip? I'm not really sure what Pastry Pride is.

I just googled pastry pride, cause I had heard of it either. It is a whipped cream like product that is sold frozen.

Try Rich's bettercream. Do you have a GFS? I think they are similar.

No GFS.

I found it at your local smart and final store, do you have one of these in your neighborhood? They also stock bettercreme, and another instant icing in cartons in the freezer section. Good luck and happy baking.....by the way I love this website [center][/center]
