Does anyone know a quick way to make fondant balls all the same size? They are to go around the tier of a wedding cake, which is a dummy cake. I have a clay protuder but still have to measure and roll. This could take me forever at this rate.
Thanks

We were taught in the Fondant and Gumpaste course to roll out the fondant to a uniform thickness, use a round/circle cutter to cut out multiple circles of fondant, and then roll each circle into a ball. Given that you use one size of cutter to cut each fondant circle, and that the fondant is all one thickness, when you roll each circle into a ball, they will have to be all the same size by necessity.

Use a pasta machine to get the sheets of fondant a uniform thickness.
