I was wondering if this is a good combination? Being that it is summer I thought this sounded good and kind of light. It is for my DS 1st b-day, do kids like lemon cake? Also is regular old BC okay?

Sounds great to me. I have 3 kids and they have all eaten a cake with this combo.

I did this combo for my brothers wedding cake and a few birthday cakes. Everyone loves it and ask for it for birthdays

I've made several white cakes with alternating lemon and raspberry fillings. No complaints yet!

My favorite combo for any dessert is lemon with raspberry so it sounds GREAT to me! You could do "regular" vanilla bc or you could do lemon bc...oooohhhhh yummy......... can you send some my way? icon_smile.gif
