I am making mm fondant and all the recipes I've found ask for 16 ounces or 1 pound of marshmallows for 1 recipe. I live in Canada and our marshmallows come in metric weight measurements of 400 grams or 250 grams. Can anyone tell me what they use for this recipe? Thanks!

I think (can't tell you for sure!) that you should use the 400 g bag with a small handful more if you want to be exact; 16 oz = 453.59 grams. If you have a scale you could get it accurate but I don't think the 53 g will make much difference.

FYI ... this is my fav conversion tool

Thanks snowshoe1. I had two bags of 250 gms so I used two and 3/4 bags. It turned out perfect. That site was the one I ended up using too to help me figure it out. I don't know why they didn't package it with the same measurement in Canada, it would have made it much easier for using in recipes.
