I want to make a Strawberry WASC this week for the 4th of July Holiday. What filling would you all CCers suggest I use? I will be icing with bc and thought maybe I could separate some and fold in Strawberry Preserves for a filling. If anyone has a better idea, I would love to hear it!
Folding in the preserves makes a nice filling, but the flavor is fairly light. I use straight perserves as a thin filling for best flavor. Either way works.
What about chocolate or Hazelnut (Nuttella mixed with your icing) Also take your strawberry filling and mix with your icing make a mouse oh lord it's to die for. I just started offering it and my last three bookings all have one tier if not more with that as the filling!
You could also do a layer of your icing, then a layer of fresh strawberries , kinda like a strawberry shortcake
A cream cheese filling would be delish!
All of these ideas sound simply delicious!
