Ok, so my husband is a great guy but one of those "yeah sure its good" type.
So I just finished a cake and he actually said it was "great, and really nice". I am so proud of myslef. It;s the first time i did the "stiching" and i have never made any people before. its in my pics (baby sammi)
well i have to go add the eyes to the kids on the bottom and deliver it.

Don't you just love it when that happens. For me it's my sister's approval that I seek as she is the 'artistic' one. I made a wedding cake this weekend which she said was beautiful and I felt ten feet tall. Your cake looks divine, I particularly love the buttons and the baby on top of the cake.

It's a standing joke in our house how hubby always says things are "not bad". It's like he EXPECTS everything to be bad, so when it's not, then it's a surprise to him.

So when he actually says something is GOOD ... wow, that's like God himself giving you the Holy Blessing!
