This was done by request of my little boy, who will be 4 tomorrow. I learned a great lesson from doing a 3D cake -I don't ever want to do one again. Went fairly smoothly but just not my cup of tea.

He is thrilled over this cake. He has been asking for a green car with a mustache for months now. He stood over me and gave me "tips" on what Chick Hicks looked like. He even told me the green was the right green, but close enough -silly boy!

Very cute!! I can guarantee once you learn to use fondant (if you don't know yet), you're never go back to those hand aching stars!!!

I ALMOST used fondant, kind of wish I did now that my hand is still cramping from all those freakin' stars!!

I think it looks amazing!! I am always amazed at all those Wilton cakes with all the stars. I can't imagine piping that many stars!!
