I was just wondering what the average timeline is in regards to putting the cake together- frosting, filling, assembling- before it's due to the customer or the recipient of the cake.

THANKS!

I "put it together" the day before. If I had multiple cakes on the same day, like Saturday, I'd do some on THursday and some on Friday.

I would bake them early in the week and throw them in the freezer so they'd get moister and better tasting.

I like to have mine finished 2 days before they will be eaten.
