I just started a batch of buttercream, Wilton's recipe, I'm creaming the shortening and butter, about to add vanilla -I'm all oUT! What do I do? Can I make the entire batch without it and then add it later???

Oh I totally felt the blood pressure cuff about to explode. I wanted to say chill chill chill but I didn't wanna risk taking the extra time to type it.
