Does anyone know what the true color is for a 45th wedding anniversary? I have research internet, and have seen 2 different things...sapphire and red sapphire (which is actually ruby).

I have to do a sheet cake for tomorrow and want to be politically correct. If actually sapphire blue...that will work well, because the bride and groom are using blues for their cake. They are having a side cake for the groom's parents since it is their 45th anniversary.

Please help asap!

I just did my inlaws 45th wedding anniversary cake, it's sapphire blue. That's is what I was told EVERYWHERE we went to get stuff.
