I have a request for a cake that I make with whipped cream icing (heavy whipping cream with powder sugar mixture) but they have asked for it to be baby pink color. I have never iced whipped cream icing and from what I've read, the color can bleed. Has anyone had much luck? I might try it over the weekend but wanted to see if anyone had any tips.
I once tried coloring whipped cream using coloring Gel and it became runny. I think the best way is to color it using air brush.
I color my pastry pride whip cream all the time and I never have a problem
