Can I get some tips on the best crumb coating methods? Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated!

I usually thin my normal icing down a bit with water or milk so it doesn't tear the cake and then spread a thin coat on and scrape off as much as possible. I try to work the icing into the cake a bit and then let it crust over. HTH!

I just try to make sure the more "crumby" areas are covered up and there is a smoother surface there. Fill in any holes. Do make sure your BC is thin enough for icing but not runny. I usually put it in the frig for a few minutes too so it can set.
