I want to make a flower box with flowers and butterflies sticking out of it for my cousin's little girl's birthday.. Has anyone ever use the long loaf pan 502-1208 with a regular cake mix?? It says to use angel food cake in it, but she wants a white cake, so I was thinking of white pound cake. I want to make cookies on sticks for the flowers to stand up so I need it to be kind of sturdy...

also, how long would I cook that?? the directions say 9cups of batter but it's so long and thin....

I'd love any advice or suggestions!!!

Thanks!
Wendy

i used 2 box mixes when i used the loaf as part of a train cake and i baked at 325* for roughly 50 minutes. but it depends on your oven, really
