I am fairly new to using these forums and I know everyone has asked a pricing question but I really do need help.
I was asked to do a wedding cake for about 150 in late August. She would like 3 or 4 tiers on separate stands with a sheet cake in the kitchen. How much should I charge?
I will also be delivering it about 30 miles out of town, should I have a set delivery fee or a per mile fee?
Thank you for your help!

It is very difficult to tell you how much to charge without knowing a bit more about the cake you have been asked to make. Is it BC or fondant? What type of decoration will you do? The amount of decoration will really make a difference to the price. You have to charge a lot more for a cake covered in hand made sugar flowers than a cake with a simple ribbon and real flowers. It is also useful to know how much your competition charge. Don't sell yourself way below your competitors, you don't want to be known as the cheap cake lady.
