I have 5 pounds of fondant and I was just wondering.

I know there's more than one combination of cakes that it would be enough for, but if someone knows approximately one combination, or has a link to a chart, that would be great.

thanks. icon_smile.gif

I don't have a link handy, but I know there is one on the Wilton website and also the Satin Ice website which is www.satinfinefoods.com .

I just did 2 cake for my son's graduation party last weekend.

5lb's covered a 9" x 4" round cake and a rectangle 8" x 13" x 3" that was in the shape of an xBox.

After covering and decorating I had about a fistful left.

I have a little leftover after a 6-9-12 x 4" wedding cake.

so heres my question- will 5lb of fondant cover a double layer 9x13 with leftover for decorations?

thanks.

Yes, you will have more than enough left over for decorations.
