I am waning to try my hand at sugar pulling and blowing. Can anyone suggest some good books or videos to teach a beginner? Thanks! icon_biggrin.gif

The best book out there so far as value for money and actual research about sugar work is:
Sugar Artistik by Louise and Othmar Fassbind
ISBN # 3-952-053-007
Seriously NOTHING compares.

I'd agree with you but it's not even my book I'm promoting !!!

I've got all the sugar books out there and I have to say for what you pay, what is covered, the QUALITY of the information and the Education of the person writing it, this is the best value for money. It's not just a picture book like so many of them. After that buy what ever you like.

OMG - I just got this book and you're right - its terrific. I've never done any sugar work before, but am excited about starting!

Kincaellan - I looked on your website an don't see your book (is it published yet?)

Also, does anyone know where I can purchase Isomalt without buying a super huge tub of it for $75?
