I'm looking for a really really really good whipped cream icing recipe.. can anyone suggest one??? I want one that i can decorate easily with.
also if you use whipped cream icing, does it have to be refrigerated?? and can i use whipped cream and still cover it with fondant??
In place of whipped cream icing- you can buy Rich's Bettercreme at GFS Marketplace. It is much more stable and can be whipped and flavored however you want.
It is a lot like whipped cream.
Oh also- there is a recipe for mock whipped cream in the cupcake thread. I think fiddlesticks (For one) has the link to all the recipes posted in her signature.

I would also like that recipe, is it hard to make and does it last longer than b/c, how does color take to it?
