I need to know how you girls or guys put the lettering on the front of the cap with. I was thinking the reverse method I keep hearing about on here. is that easy to do ? It is for a grooms cake I am doing. Any other methods out there?

I usually just pipe it on in royal icing or even buttercream. I have also cut the letters out of fondant using tappits or other letter cutters.

I did a Yankees cap, and I did the "NY" symbol out of fondant. I traced the symbol on parchment paper, cut the symbol out of the parchment paper, placed it on top of rolled out fondant, and cut it out with an exacto knife.

What kind of lettering do you need to put on the cap?
