HI, I need to make a Louis Vuitton bag in white (similar to the pic posted by someone else). It looks fab but don;t know where to start or what cake size to make. Has anyone ever done one before that can help? I need to make it for 5 days time
Many thanks, Lisa

I do a half sheet cake and cut it in thirds and stack it up securely with dowel. Cake is about 8 inches high and 12 inches long. I get the handle & stuff ready. Slap on the fondant, do the artwork. All set.

I dig making the little chains.

There's four different pieces to the logo, three are easy and the circular one is beyond me to do right. So I just cut out some tiny dogwood blooms and faked that one. The artwork I did in edible ink markers.

That pleat in the front is kinda touchy but step by step it's a cool cake to make.

Just like K8Memphis said! I covered mine in dark chocolate fondant, added the peachy-brown fondant strips for (lazy but simple!!) detailing and then used gold lustre dust to draw on the logos and lettering all over the bag.

I didn't have enough time to do proper gumpaste handles, so I improvised.
