Hey there for all of you that are thinking of using or getting the Fat Daddios pans but haven't yet...TRY THEM!!!! I just used one yesterday for the first time, and they are AWESOME!!! My cake didn't stick one bit, and it baked quickly and even!!! It is amazing that something that works so good, can be so inexpensive.... I give them a thumbs up! thumbs_up.gif

That's good to know. I posted a question about them....over a year ago, I believe, and someone from the company posted that they would send a free one and I never heard back from them, even after confirming his post. icon_confused.gif

I use the cake release recipe I got from here to grease them. It works perfect. It's just equal amts of shortening, oil and flour mixed together and then brushed on the pans.

I bought mine last year after talking with Greg at ICES. I do like them--the cakes don't seem to be crumbly on the outside.

As for the free one, you had to go thru Global Sugar Art I think. Greg posted that he was sending them the special "freebie" pans and was going to put a post or a link on the GSA page.

For square I like the Magic Line better. Not a big fan of FD's square. I had to buy two of them, and couldn't order them online.
