Thought it would be nice try and get a thread going that allows us to share a list of all the responsibilities most of us have to take care of before we are able to peacefully pursue our love for decorating.

You can use it as vent time if you'd like but my intent is to showcase the many hats we wear and the numerous responsibilities we endure and to encourage one another to keep up the good work that so often goes unnoticed from the ones we serve.
Here's my list of hats:
Wife- 24 hours per day
Mother-26 hours per day! (Yes, I meant to write 26.) to two toddlers
Worker 40+ hours per week
Grad Student 15-20 hours per week
Caker 4-10 hours per week (Wish I had more time for it)
Housekeeper, cook and under appreciated maid: (Far too much time!)
Let's also not forget the time I have to workout (because DH likes eye candy), parent-child social events, and the total lack of sleep you don't get while putting everyone and everything else first.

All and all though, I think I'm still pretty sane. Although I could use a nap! icon_lol.gif

HA HA HA, my DH likes eye candy too! Except since I hit 30 2 weeks ago it seems the rest of me wants to hit the floor too icon_surprised.gif
I'm an active busy mom to 4 small kids.
a Volunteer at 2 different places
ACF member that keeps me kind of busy. (was nominated for board election)
Run my own small baking business
Help DH with his business sometimes
I do all the cooking and cleaning for the house
I work as a fitness trainer part time (they want me to start full time--umm,no)
I work out a few times a week
Thank goodness I graduated last month so I don't need to worry about that anymore.

I am a mom of 3 kids (one of whom is a senior this year and the other two in are going into 7th grade-twins)
I am a wife of a logging loving husband
I am a member of our local recreation dept (hence all the donated cakes in my gallery).

I'm a stay-at-home mom of soon-to-be three kids (due the 5th of August!), the other two are 4yo and 21 months.
I find the term "working mother" redundant... icon_wink.gif
I am a preacher's wife, and all the extra responsibility that brings.
I do caking as a hobby and an extension of my creative leanings (It takes up less space than, say, my painting or woodcarving... Mostly because we can now eat my artwork! icon_biggrin.gif )
I sing/play guitar in a Bluegrass band, and we just put out a CD.
I'll worry about "eye-candy" when I don't have a small person inhabiting my belly... icon_lol.gif

I myself don't quite rank up there with all the activities as some of you, but here's my list so to speak.

*Mother of a 12 yr old (thinks she's 1icon_cool.gif
*My fiance has decided to go out and drive truck for work which leaves me to do everything around the house inside and out. Ugh
*Unfortunatley he is now recovering from surgery for 6 wks...So add nurse to my list I guess.*
*I want the cake thing to be full time, I'm just having trouble getting 'out there' so to speak.
*I try the fitness (walking) thing for exercise but due to health reasons with my heart I'm limited. (does walking back and forth from the laundry room count?) LOL

Best wishes to everyone on their daily adventures!

Wow, I don't feel so busy now that I've read all of your daily routines..

**Single mom of 2 boys 11 & 5
**Full time pastry baker (wholesale)
**Part time cake decorator
**On call hotel watcher
**On call Grandma helper
**Clean house, kitchen (big job!) Did I mencion wash clothes by hand
**The go to lady when schools want cakes and school helper
**Owner of one very bad dog, that now has to stay tied up= More daily walks
**My exercise is dropping/picking up my son on bike and delivering my pastries on bike.

Kinda different world down here, but I enjoy it for the most part. For Sunny days, I'll do about anything.

Yeesh, is it a little daunting to think what all we do?

Mother, four boys, but I count extra because two of them are disabled.
Trying to maintain something like a full-time job to support these kids, since their dad just bailed.
Beyond that, there is the typical stuff that goes with mothering, but right now it's hard to think what all that is..........
