I am making a cookie bouquet for my son's french teacher. I want to put on it Thank you, Madame Caruthers. If i write..."Merci Madame Caruthers" is that proper spelling? I know it's terrible i don't know basic french, but lets just say i almost failed it in high school and i haven't gotten any better as i've aged. I'd hate to spell it wrong, and insult her.
